Completely new casting, improved low rpm oil flow, positive trans-brake apply, bolt in 4340 stator support, pump gears have special low-friction coating, new technology for powerglides. High volume oil flow helps eliminate "rocking" when applying the trans-brake.

Used to protect case from wear and to repair cases that have been damaged by reverse steels. Maintains consistent reverse clutch release by preventing rear clutch pack from "hanging up" on the wear grooves in the case.
